JG Auctions is no-frills. Created so anyone can play to collect an original artwork.

HOW TO PLAY

Register:

Create an account here- this will be your auction profile. All you need to do is login and you are ready to start bidding. Bids will post anonymously on the public auction boards. Make sure you subscribe to gallery emails so you don't miss any important notifications or future auction announcements.

Buyout Prices:

Automatically take the piece you love out of the auction by paying the buyout price listed in the item description. Buyout prices are far lower than market price so you'll still be getting a steal, and you won't have to wait to find out if you win. Email Rebecca@Justingaffrey.com if you want to buy any of the pieces outright. Please note that buyouts are only available up to 24 hours before the auction closes.

Proxy Bidding 

You can enable automatic bids based on your own parameters. Let the computer do the work and enjoy your week. Bids cannot be retracted once placed.

Popcorn Bidding:

When the auction is almost over, any bids placed in the last 2 minutes will extend the time remaining an additional 5 minutes. This allows other bidders ample time to counter. 

Winning Bidders:

At the end of the auction, you will be notified on-screen and by email if you are the winner! Winners will have 24 hours to complete payment or the auction item will be transferred to the second highest bidder. You may checkout when prompted on justingaffrey.com or use the invoice that will be automatically emailed after the auction ends.

Shipping:

Shipping costs are noted in the description of every Lot item and will be automatically added to your total at checkout. All paintings won in the Holiday Auction will ship to arrive before Christmas. Please email our art handler at Jonathan@Justingaffrey.com with any specific shipping or pickup needs. All artworks are fully insured and ship safely all over the world.

Imperfections:

The Warehouse & Holiday Auctions are comprised of well-loved pieces that were made with *gasp* human hands! All paintings are selected and priced to reflect the work as-is. The back of your painting may have some extra color or nicks (psst..it's the back..no one will see it) and there may be very minor imperfections noted and approved of by Justin. Contact rebecca@justingaffrey.com if you have questions about imperfections before bidding. No refunds will be given as all Lots are priced with the piece's history taken into account.
