For Justin Gaffrey, this series is both process and philosophy. He collected ordinary materials — metal, wood, and objects found in hardware stores, thrift shops, and online markets — and rebuilt them through welding, layering, and sculptural paint. What once had clear function becomes abstract, expressive, and new.

The act mirrors the idea: transformation as truth. In breaking apart the familiar, something more honest emerges — a record of process, tension, and discovery.

Each piece holds that threshold — the quiet line where perception shifts into understanding.
